(T1) - Yew - Prune to reduce loading of the stem and decayed first-order branches and reduce competition from ascending branches on the north side of the tree, selective removal or shortening of secondary, predominantly ascending branches over a period of 5 to ten years, removing no more than 5% of the tree's foliage bearing branches in any given year. Prune long first-order branch on east side of the crown, which extends beyond the general crown, reducing it in length by approximately 4 metres. (TPO 11 of 1990).
