The attached photo (photo 1) with lines drawn will show you the rough shape of the tree after it has been reduced, subject to the permission. There is a Maple tree (T2) close by that has a few branches growing into the Silver Birch so applying to reduce those away from it. These are shown and highlighted in photos 2 and 3.
