Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
Front garden bordering Carmans Lane. Mature Copper Beech has two branches trailing on the power cables in the lane. Please may we reduce the tips of these branches by about 90cm for clearance of the cables. Yew tree close to adjacent property (St Patrick's) needs maintenance of current size and shape. Please may we reduce the crown size by 30cm to prevent interference with the house (St Patricks) on one side and the power cable on the opposite side. Back garden Three adjacent Yew trees in the bottom corner of the garden bordering Carmans House back garden. Please may we reduce the crown by 1.5m to maintain size and shape and prevent interference with adjacent trees in neighbouring garden (Carmans House) and maintain current light levels. Small central Yew tree. Please may we reduce crown by 50 cm to maintain size and shape

T1 Poplar - Remove tree - It has out grown its position within the garden and is at a size and age that it is likely to start loosing branches due to being heavily weighted & over extended. "Topping" the tree is not good Arboricultural practice so is out of the question. Poplar does not reduce well due to producing a proliferation of new shoots on the cut branches, leaving an unsightly tree that will develop decay & become unsafe
