T1 London Plane - the request is to reduce the crown of the tree by 40% . To get the tree back into shape and under control, and reduce the large amount of branches overhanging my garden, the tree currently covers 3 gardens, causing regular issues, namely health issues (continuous cough during leaf season) due to the make of tree, leaf, seeds and loose branches that fall regularly. We are looking to reduce the crown by about 6 - 8 Metres, and even the tree as currently it is heavy on one side, namely over my garden. The work proposed is in the interests of good arboricultural management to maintain the trees health and in the interest of good tree husbandry and visual amenities in the area. The work will be undertaken by a qualified arborist with all associated health and safety regulations applied. TBC
