Works: Trees Small domestic
Read from the description, not a valuation. How we read the register
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
At the weekend a large branch from a tree in our front garden broke off and landed on our neighbour's car in his drive. We were lucky that no serious damage was caused as the branch was large and covered with a lot foliage. As luck would have it, most of its weight was caught by the fence dividing the two properties. We called out a tree surgeon at the request of our neighbour and they removed the offending branch. They found that the centre of the trunk had rotted away and advised us that we should take down the remainder of the tree. We are now asking for permission to proceed with its removal. We are concerned that the branches which are left will fall either on the pavement/road at the front of our drive or onto the drive itself and damage our car where it is parked.
