Tree in photo - I showed it to a tree surgeon company and they advised me to contact you as the tree needs to be taken down from the bottom, because it is significantly diseased, unfortunately. So, I would like to apply for permission to take this tree down. It is on my neighbour part of the land between our houses, but they agree for me to take it down, as it represents a threat to my house rather than theirs due to the slope down towards me.

18 Grange Road Winchester SO23 9RT
Three number Hornbeam trees located in No: 18 Grange Road. Their canopies overhang significantly at No.18 Grange Road and two properties at the rear of no.18; Nos: 2 & 3 Grange Close. (half way cover of their gardens). The trees underwent surgery last in 2014/15 and since then, their height, canopy cover and density have increased exponentially. Request significant surgery as approved by WCC Planning dept in accordance with best practices for mutual safety and satisfaction. The trees spread and infringement at Nos. 2 & 3 Grange Close is approx 20ft on a garden length of 60ft, therefore in this case a reduction of 15ft ,(4m) on the tree canopy spread would be appreciated. The canopy densities are significant and suggest a thinning reduction in the region of 25% would be appropriate. Any height reduction is arbritary to suit the overall appearance of the trees.
