Converting the driveway, which is currently next to our back garden to become part of our back garden. As part of making the driveway into part of the back garden we will need to extend 2 metre/ 6ft fence along one side of the current driveway & to increase the height of an existing fence from approx 1 metre to 2 metres. Having spoken to Winchester city council, permission is required to put up the proposed fences. This is specified within the decision notice for application WIR.12195 for the original construction of the property, which states 'no other structures of any kind shall be erected on the land without the prior consent of the Local Planning Authority'.
