Cut back the lateral branches overhanging the footpath by up to approximately 2-3 metres, sufficient to clear the line of the path and restore safe passage. Cuts to be made cleanly back to a suitable growth point or branch junction. No reduction of the main stems, and no felling, uprooting or removal of the laurels
