Withdrawn Westminster 26/06904/TCA Trees

Works: Trees

Withdrawn before a decision, so it carries no planning weight. A revised scheme can be submitted at any time.

Proposal

Holly T1 and beech T8 fell due to poor condition. Both trees were identified as struggling prior to development as noted in the third-party survey that preceded our own and picked up in the comments of our first survey of the site. These ongoing conditions have been aggravated by the extensive drought this summer.

T1 Betula jacquemontii- Fell- This tree has out grown its position in the small herbacious border and garden, it is blocking light and the roots are suppressing the growth of other ornamental shrubs and trees- The owner would like to remove it before it gets any larger- a poor choice for such a small garden, also blocking the view in to Green park. T2 Prunus sp.- Fell As above , in addition the trees lower branches have been removed and now has impaired form, is being suppressed by the London Plane tree and it has very few blossoms in the spring. If nessessary the tree owner would be prepared to replace the two trees with a more suitable tree
