T1 - Veteran Lime Tree The proposed works seek consent to re-pollard the TPO-protected Lime by approximately 2.5m (Tilia sp.) back to its established historic pollard points as part of an appropriate and sustainable management regime. The tree has produced substantial regrowth since its last cycle of management, resulting in increased end-weight and mechanical loading at previous pruning points. Re-pollarding to the original pollard framework will reduce the risk of branch failure, improve structural stability and help maintain the tree within a size that is proportionate to its setting. All works will be undertaken in a sensitive manner, with pruning cuts made to suitable secondary growth in accordance with BS 39982010. Reason for works: Regular tree maintenance
