Works: Trees
Still open. Anyone can comment while the consultation period runs, and comments go to the council rather than to us.
Proposal
T1 Sweet Chestnut - see Tree Location Plan - Reduce the crown in height by approximately 5 metres to major union, reducing the lateral branches by approximately 3 metres back to suitable growth points or unions. Remove the large torn branch stub. The work is being completed to mitigate the risk of future branch failure. The tree has recently lost a major limb and the trees canopy extends over a highway, footpath, driveway, the property and utility cables.
