Works: Trees Small domestic
Read from the description, not a valuation. How we read the register
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
Tree species: Oak (Quercus) – 2 trees T1 – OakRaise the canopy by reducing the lowest branches overhanging the parking area and garden up to the boundary fence. Reduction of the two lowest lateral branches back to appropriate secondary growth points to provide improved clearance for parked vehicles. Works to be limited to branches overhanging our property boundary. T2 – OakMinor canopy lifting by reducing the lowest overhanging branches towards the parking area and garden to suitable secondary growth points to increase clearance. Works to be carried out only up to the boundary line. Reason for works:Low branches from the oak trees overhang the parking area and garden, restricting access and clearance for vehicles. The proposed works will improve clearance and safety while maintaining the natural form and character of the trees.

The process from here
Permission has been granted, usually subject to conditions listed on the decision notice, some of which must be discharged before work starts. The decision notice on the council portal sets out exactly what was approved.
Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses. Neighbours cannot appeal a grant; challenging one means judicial review of how the decision was made, within tight time limits.
About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.
