Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
Trees T1–T3 Mature Oak (Quercus robur) Large mature boundary oaks with broad spreading crowns. Primary and secondary limbs extend directly over the roof of the outbuilding. The trees are generally healthy but have been unmanaged for a prolonged period, resulting in excessive end-weight and extended lateral growth. Previous branch failure has already caused damage to the roof and aerial. Proposed works (T1–T3): Pollard Trees T1–T3 to manage size, reduce risk, and establish a sustainable long-term management regime. Reducing crowns back to existing pollard points where present, or to suitable secondary growth points to establish a new pollard framework. Removing excessive end-weight from limbs overhanging the outbuilding.Retaining the primary structural framework and scaffold limbs.A Trees T4–T8 Young coniferous trees (Thuja/ awson Cypress type). Proposed works (T4–T8): Relocation within the site Five young trees are to be carefully lifted and replanted elsewhere within the garden as part of a re-landscaping scheme. The trees are not being removed from the site and there will be no net loss of tree cover. The relocation will improve garden layout, visual amenity, and long-term landscape structure.
