Planning application
A361 Chipping Warden Compound
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
The submission for a non-material change approval on construction arrangements comprises the following: - To supply the Chipping Warden Green Tunnel Compound with materials and for aggregate import on the section between Edgcote and Boddington, it is necessary to amend the access route to the location of Gate 18, following completion of the A361 highway works, which will be opened under a temporary arrangement until permanent completion of the works. The new A361 Realignment, scheduled for completion on October 6th, 2025, will replace the existing A361 that was used during construction. The existing A361 will be partially removed and will remain accessible only to residents and for access purposes. The new route to the compound: from the M40, deliveries reach the first roundabout on A361, go straight (second exit), continue 400m, then turn left into the compound.
