Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
Large Ash Tree Located in the rear garden Historically pollarded, canopy reduced over the past 5 years to mitigate risk of branch failure but hasn't proven successful, recently lost 2 major limbs. High risk position as the canopy extends over 5 gardens, signs of Ash dieback, infected with decay fungus with no scope to reduce the tree further. Therefore, the crown is to be dismantled, stems re-pollarded approximately 2-3 metres above their unions with the main stem and retained for habitat value.
