Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
T1 is a mature ash tree located to the front garden of no.2 chapel close. The tree is within striking distance of multiple properties and has recently lost significant dead branches within the upper crown. The tree is suffering from ash dieback and is producing large amounts of deadwood. I would recommend a fairly heavy crown reduction of the upper crown. Reducing the height by 6-7m and the lateral crown spread by around 3m to blend into the upper crown. This will help retain the tree and hopefully promote new growth.

G1 is a row of Conifer hedging. We are seeking permission to reduce the ends of this Conifer hedge by up to 5m to lower it to the same height as the retained hedge. The hedge is currently 4m tall from ground level. The ends of this hedge line have not been maintained.
