The tree is a horse chestnut tree (Aesculus hippocastanum) Crown reduce lateral branches overhanging the property and garden by up to 2 metres to provide clearance from the house and maintain balanced form. Crown thin by approximately 15% to improve light penetration and reduce wind loading on branches. Remove any deadwood greater than 25mm diameter throughout the crown for safety.
