T1956 - Monterey pine - Sectional dismantle and complete removal of the existing tree. We propose to remove the mature Monterey pine located at the entrance to the school. The works will be carried out using a 55-ton crane. The main stem will be sectioned into approximately 3-metre lengths and placed into the designated drop zone over the fence. Where this is not achievable, sections will be placed carefully into an available parking bay. All arising woodchip will be tipped in the agreed corner parking space. In conclusion, the removal of the tree is justified as a necessary and proportionate measure to mitigate a foreseeable risk to public safety and property, in line with established risk management duties and arboricultural best practice.
