Hornbeam - Reduce height and circumference. The tree currently stands taller than our house which is, approximately, 13 meters high, the approximate height of the tree stands around 15 to 16 meters. (please see attached photograph). At its widest point (the middle and lower branches) it spans approximately 14 meters. If the requested reduction was granted then the tree would have a final height of approximately 12.5 meters and a final, maximum, span of just under 12 meters. We would therefore request a 40% crown reduction, taking approximately a 16% reduction from the widest and tallest branches with the smaller branches having less of a reduction to ensure the tree holds its shape but moves away from our house and boundary fences.

T1 - Wild Cherry: Fell to ground level Reason: T1 is a mature tree growing to the rear of the property. The trees two trunks lean towards the rear elevation of the property. Fungal fruiting bodies of Laetiporus sulphureus (Chicken of the Woods) are present at the base of the tree. The presence of decay at the base of the tree and the lean of the trunk towards the residential property means that T1 (Cherry) poses an unacceptable risk to property and can no longer be safely retained in this location.

The property has historically been occupied and used as a conventional family dwelling and there is no evidence to suggest that this residential use is unlawful. No operational development is proposed as part of this application. Lime tree T1: fell to ground level. The tree is severely dangerous and decayed at the base and ready to fall over. We have already gained emailed confirmation from west berks the tree can be felled. Sycamore tree T2: fell to ground level. It is a small sapling that is growing into the brick wall right behind the public bus stop. If it is allowed to carry on growing it will destroy this wall and could cause harm to the public. Macrocarpa tree T3: dead wood removal and limb reduction of 2 metres. The tree has bad canopy health, lots of deadwood and the live limbs are showing signs of potential failure. I seriously recommend removing the dead wood and reducing the live limbs back by 2 metres, bringing the canopy into a more safe state and much lower risk of limb failure.

Church Of St Mary Church Road Shaw Newbury RG14 2DR

I wish to apply to fell and dismantle the mature Cedar of Lebanon tree, known as tree icon 014J in the grounds of St Mary's Church yard, Shaw. The tree has had two significant and large limb rip outs over the last threee months from probalby included bark and acute branch collars, the remaining tree has several more significant limbs with similar branch collars and the concern is that additional limbs and branches are likely to fall over time. A well used footpath runs past the tree and this is used daily by children and adults. The tree now has two large decay points where the limbs ripped out from so these will be sites of pathogen ingress over time. The tree is around 15m in height and 10-12m in width, the hope is that the church plants a replacement tree elsewhere in the churchyard.

I would like to carry out a crown lift on this mature willow tree growing on private land and to the side of the public footpath and adjacent to 25 Lambourn Place, Lambourn. The branches currently hang to around 1.5m over the footpath and the intention is to crown lift the branches to 2.5m over the footpath. In addition there is a partially broken and partially hanging branch within the low crown of the tree and I will instruct the contractor to prune this off, leaving arisings on site, in order to mitigate the risk to the public. The tree icon is 0JUY.
