We would like to paint the shop front heritage matt black. We would like to add a small white name to the top front of the shop, made of white acrylic letters 'Caffeine Project', 1470mm x 185mm. What withdrawal means

The process from here

The applicant withdrew this application before the council decided it, so it carries no planning weight and no fee refund is automatic. Withdrawal often follows officer feedback that a refusal was likely.

The applicant is free to submit a revised application at any time, and many withdrawn schemes return in amended form, so the site is worth watching if the proposal affected you.

About heritage and listed buildings applications

How this application type works

Heritage applications concern listed buildings and conservation areas. Listed building consent is needed for works, inside or out, that affect the special interest of a listed building, and carrying out such works without consent is a criminal offence. The council weighs harm to the heritage asset against any public benefit of the proposal.
