What happens while it is decided

The process from here

This application is with Wandsworth for determination. The council publicises it, consults neighbours and technical bodies where required, and weighs the responses against local and national planning policy.

The statutory target is eight weeks for most applications and thirteen for major development, though extensions of time are common. Comments carry most weight while the case is undecided, so check the council portal for the deadline if you want to respond.

About householder applications

How this application type works

Householder applications cover work to an existing house and its garden: extensions, loft and garage conversions, porches, outbuildings and similar alterations within the boundary of the home. They cannot be used to create a separate dwelling or change what the building is used for. Councils aim to decide them within eight weeks, and immediate neighbours are usually notified and given a chance to comment.

G7524. Holly Tree. Approximately 9 metres in height. Cut back over path by 1 metre as disrupting pathway and very overgrown. Lift to 2.5 metres as limbs are low growing and taking up also disrupting pathway as there is a cluster of trees which look messy. Situated at the front of the building but the driveway. T7525. Maple Tree. Approximately 13 metres in height. Crown reduce by 2 metres, leaving the tree 11 metres in height. Tree has become overgrown causing a lot of fallen debris and overhanging the pathway, making the tree look messy, a reduction would also benefit the health of the tree. Situated next to G7524 at the front of the property by the car park. T7527. Holly Tree. Approximately 3/4 metres in height. Fell to ground level. Tree has become overgrown and taking up too much room also overhanging the pathway and could become a safety hazard. Situated on the fence line at at the front of the property at The Hollies. T7532. Sycamore Tree. Approximately 18 metres in height. Approximately 13 metres in width. Remove all deadwood and pollard at 2 metres, leaving the tree 16 metres in height. The canopy of the tree is very wide spread so reducing it down would hopefully bring the tree together and grow nicely. The long limbs are growing over the pathway causing a lot of fallen debris and blocking natural sunlight. Situated behind the boundary fence in the rear garden of the Hollies. T7533. Lime Tree. 15 metres in height. Approximately 8 metres in width. Pollard by 3/4 metres in height. Leaving the tree 11 metres in height and 4/5 metres in width. Tree has become overgrown and blocking sunlight. Tree is touching the building (pollarding will make clear of the building) and will eventually be touching the roof. and low hanging limbs are overhanging the fence of number 21, and causing a lot of fallen debris. Situated in the corner of the rear garden on Culverdon Road.
