The proposed works comprise: ??? adaptation of the existing chapel to provide residential accommodation within the historic envelope; ??? formation of proposed flat layouts, including living, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, dressing, snug, hallway, entrance and plant areas; ??? removal or alteration of later internal fabric of low or neutral significance where required to enable the proposed layout, improve spatial legibility or address fabric performance; ??? treatment, removal or replacement of existing floor finishes, screeds and floor build-ups where required; ??? development of a floor strategy to address damp, levels, structural requirements, service integration and compatibility with the historic masonry construction; ??? localised structural repairs and strengthening where identified by the structural engineer; ??? repair or stabilisation of fabric affected by water ingress, structural movement, later alteration or poor previous detailing; ??? drainage and below-ground services works where required to address defects identified by CCTV drainage survey; ??? integration of new domestic services, including drainage, mechanical and electrical services, ventilation, heating and plant; ??? associated making good and internal finishes using compatible materials where they meet historic fabric; and ??? retention of the external form, roof profile, principal elevations and group relationship.
