  Rear T1 Holm Oak (Evergreen) x 1 (Quercus ilex) This 16m mature holm oak has been reduced previously and its cyclical prune is now due. The holm oak is currently suffering from leaf minor, but I have explained that there is nothing can be done about it, but it will get better as the summer season develops. The tree has outgrown it's location and dominates this corner of the garden. BS:3998 allows us to reduce a tree by a maximum of one-third. Suggested work: - crown reduction, re-framing the tree - reduce the height by 4.5m, creating new reduction points - reduce lateral growth 2-2.5m to balance crown
