Withdrawn Wandsworth 2025/3834 Works to a T.P.O. Tree

Works: Trees

Withdrawn before a decision, so it carries no planning weight. A revised scheme can be submitted at any time.

Proposal

Rear T1 Strawberry Tree x 1 (Arbutus unedo) This tree has not been maintained in some time. Suggested work: - Reduce back to the previous points of reduction leaving foliage where possible. Rear T2 Lime x 1 (Tilia spp) These pleached lime trees surround the perimeter of the garden. They are due to be maintained in line with their pruning cycle. Suggested work: - Reduce to the previous points of reduction approx 3m Rear T3 Lime x 1 (Tilia spp) This previously pollarded lime tree is due to be pruned in line with its pruning cycle. Suggested work: - Reduce to the previous points of reduction approx 2.5m and remove epicormic growth. Rear T4 Magnolia x 1 (Magnolia spp) This tree is starting to shade the plant bed below and grow out of shape. Suggested work: - Reduce and shape by 0.5-1 m all round. - Remove climber Rear T5 Atlas Cedar x 1 (Cedrus atlantica) This large tree is well maintained but there is some concern about the roots due to its proximity to the property and the sail effect in high winds. Suggested work( Option 1 ) - Reduce in height by 4-5 m to reduce the sail effect and prevent failure in high winds. Rear T5 Atlas Cedar x 1 (Cedrus atlantica) (Option 2) Suggested works- Fell to ground level and treat stump. Front T6 Holm Oak (Evergreen) x 1(Quercus ilex) This tree grows over the road and is due to be pruned in line with its pruning cycle. Suggested work: - Reduce to the previous points of reduction Approx 2-3m Front T7 Holly x 1 (Ilex aquifolium) This holly tree is starting to decline. Suggested work: - Remove main stem to leave lower growth below to form a new bush.
