Works: Trees
Decided. The decision notice on the council portal carries the outcome in full, including any conditions.
Proposal
1- TPO T25 - Norway Maple 2- TPO T38 - Ash The trees are mature and form part of the established planting around the property, providing visual interest and amenity value for guests, visitors and neighbouring areas. The proposed works are limited to pruning the branches closest to the building, by a maximum of 2 metres, to maintain an appropriate clearance. The intention is to retain the trees and their overall appearance and continue to preserve their contribution to the character and amenity of the site. We are not aware of any specific historical significance associated with the trees.

About trees applications
How this application type works
Tree applications cover work to protected trees: those under a tree preservation order need consent for pruning or felling, and trees in a conservation area need six weeks written notice before work starts. The council assesses the amenity value of the tree and can refuse consent, approve it with conditions, or in conservation areas make a preservation order in response.
