Proposal

T556 Robinia: On the verge outside No 10&12 Park Road Abingdon. The section of crown overhanging the road is very sparse and in decline, with a moderate amount of deadwood at present. The house side appears healthy with good vitality. Upon further investigation, there are significant canker lesions on the main stem at 2m on the roadside and the east side. There is a small fungal bracket at 3m on the east side of the stem above the lesion. The roadside lesion has a dead strip running from the lesion down to 1m from ground level. The tree is in a slow progressive decline. Fell to ground level and grind out the stump. Replant with a 30 litre standard Lime tree in the autumn.
