What a grant of permission means

The process from here

Permission has been granted, usually subject to conditions listed on the decision notice, some of which must be discharged before work starts. The decision notice on the council portal sets out exactly what was approved.

Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses. Neighbours cannot appeal a grant; challenging one means judicial review of how the decision was made, within tight time limits.

About heritage and listed buildings applications

How this application type works

Heritage applications concern listed buildings and conservation areas. Listed building consent is needed for works, inside or out, that affect the special interest of a listed building, and carrying out such works without consent is a criminal offence. The council weighs harm to the heritage asset against any public benefit of the proposal.

T1 - Prunus T1 - The tree concerned is a red leaved ornamental variety (prunus). The branches are touching the roof of the flats 37 Bath Street - behind Bella Natpoli and when windy they touch my window. The tree has grown a lot this year and is now becoming a problem. I am afraid it will cause damage to our properties. It also takes away all the light from my living room. It is getting too large for the space it is in and I would like to have it removed. Remarks:
