T1 - Laburnum Laburnum - fell due to tree being unstable - even in low winds the whole tree rocks from side to side down into the ground. It has two main trunks which move apart leading to a split at ground level. The tree is located immediately to the north of a double silver birch and consequently it has grown vertically rather than spread horizontally. However it does not have a birch's root system. It is only 12 ft from the A417 London Road and therefore is a threat to public safety. It is unlikely to survive the next major storm. There are no immediate plans for replacement. Remarks:
