Planning application
1 Linch Farm, Wytham, Oxford, OX2 8QP
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
The construction of a garden room centrally placed in the garden on the east side of the house. The proposal is to purchase a ready made room which is 5 metres wide, 6 metres deep and a maximum height of 2.48 metres (DunsterHouse Super Seven Log Cabin; see website: https://dunsterhouse.co.uk/supersevern-large-log-cabin) which takes approximately two days to construct. It presents as a typical domestic garden room design constructed from interlocking tongue and groove timber with a dual pitched felt roof. This construction does not require deep foundations. It will be on a base. The garden room is very detached from the house and is behind the car port. It is not overlooked nor will it overlook either adjoining property.

The process from here
Permission has been granted, usually subject to conditions listed on the decision notice, some of which must be discharged before work starts. The decision notice on the council portal sets out exactly what was approved.
Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses. Neighbours cannot appeal a grant; challenging one means judicial review of how the decision was made, within tight time limits.
About householder applications
How this application type works
Householder applications cover work to an existing house and its garden: extensions, loft and garage conversions, porches, outbuildings and similar alterations within the boundary of the home. They cannot be used to create a separate dwelling or change what the building is used for. Councils aim to decide them within eight weeks, and immediate neighbours are usually notified and given a chance to comment.
