Decided Vale of White Horse P17/V3767/TPO Works to TPO

Works: Trees

Decided. The decision notice on the council portal carries the outcome in full, including any conditions.

Proposal

We have two lovely Lime trees in our back garden which we would like to re-pollard and tidy up this year (just maintenance to keep the trees healthy and safe height). I have a tree surgeon that can do the work, the trees have TPO's on them so I need to obtain planning beforehand.

Horse Chestnut Tree - extended lower limb in garden, lift by reducing end of branches by approximately 1m. I wish to install a lightweight 7ft by 5ft shed at the end of the garden. Because of the overhang, the tree may cause damage to the roof. I intend of sit the shed on concrete slabs to reduce any concerns relating to pressure applied to roots. I have sought advice from Arbocare Ltd regading this description of works. I will be using this company to perform the work pending approval. T1 Horse Chestnut Spec: S1 Reduce crown by a maximum of n% and reshape Reason: R1 Sound arboricultural management Reason: R2 To ensure future compatibility with site, surroundings and usage Spec: S19 Please add the following at the end of all the aprroved works: All pruning cuts must be made at bra Reason: R1 Sound arboricultural management Reason: R2 To ensure future compatibility with site, surroundings and usage
