Works: Trees
Refused. Only the applicant can appeal, within the statutory time limit, and a revised scheme can be submitted instead.
Proposal
Removal of 2 Ash Trees from the rear garden of Waters Edge, Church End, Blewbury OX11 9QH in the area of G1 of the attached TPO 03/2014 plan on the grounds that they do not conform to the government guidelines to have significant amenity value and are of disproportionate size for the garden, liable to excessive movement, cause significant shadowing to the whole garden, restrict the amenity value of other trees and plants, cause trauma to family and neighbours about the risk of collapse.

T5 - Mature Ash T4 - Sycamore Ash Request for agreement to remove: 1. A mature Ash (T5) with a severely diseased root plate (full report in 2011 from arboriculturalist Sarah Venners can be provided). As a result, this tree was pollarded, with the approval of The Vale Tree Officer. (50% crown reduction) in April 2011. However since the decay has worsened and this tree overhangs neighbouring gardens and houses, we would like to remove it and replace with a new sapling of a less vulnerable species. 2. Adjacent, younger Sycamore (T4) whose branches all lean towards light and hence it is unbalanced and overhangs neighbour's house. 3. Reshape/rebalance leaning young Ash tree right beside Sycamore (T4) which also tilts towards the house. None of these trees have TPO's and have little amenity value while posing a risk over neighbouring properties. Remarks:
