Proposal

Chestnut Tree - I want to fell this tree. A tree surgeon (Mr Tony Craddock, Westwood Tree Surgeons) has confirmed that the tree has bacterial canker and needs to be taken down as soon as possible. Its position overhanging the pavement and road in Vicarage Lane make it a danger to pedestrians, motorists and surrounding property. A significantly large branch has already broken off in the recent high winds. This chestnut tree stands very close to a healthy beech tree which I believe would benefit from the removal of the Chestnut. However, I would plant a replacement small ornamental tree if instructed to do so.
