Works: Trees
Decided. The decision notice on the council portal carries the outcome in full, including any conditions.
Proposal
T1 - Beech (large) Large Beech located in rear lawn of St Anne's House. Base and man stem look to be in reasonable condition at present with no signs of fungal pathogens or brackets. Potentially weak union at 5 metres from ground level. This may explain previous heavy reduction of upper canopy. Unable to fully assess union and upper canopy from ground level. Lower laterals now encroaching over lawn and into neighbouring buildings. Some dead wood present throughout crown. Crown lift to 4 metres from ground level by removing to source 3 large laterals approx 5" in diameter growing over lawn. Crown lift secondary laterals all round to match and give clearance to garage roof. Reduce sections of crown now encroaching and coming into contact with buildings to give 3 metres clearance and remove major dead wood. Remarks:
