About householder applications
How this application type works
Householder applications cover work to an existing house and its garden: extensions, loft and garage conversions, porches, outbuildings and similar alterations within the boundary of the home. They cannot be used to create a separate dwelling or change what the building is used for. Councils aim to decide them within eight weeks, and immediate neighbours are usually notified and given a chance to comment.

Planting will be completed by estate staff. To remove the stumps from view and not to aid replanting we can grind the stumps below ground level to a depth of 50mm. Remarks:

T1 - Yew T1 - Yew - reduce height by 3-4m to good pruning points and reduce sides by 2-3m all round to good pruning points to shape and balance the tree. The tree was reduced by approx 1m all round in 2002? and has put on approx 1m growth since then. Houses (belonging to Sovereign Housing have been built behind the property and the tree overshadows the very small gardens. The residents in behind have been complaining about the tree and the owners have been contacted by Sovereign asking for something to be done. I feel that the reduction we have asked for will leave a smaller more compact tree which will have less impact on the neighbouring properties whilst not being detrimental to the tree. Remarks:

T1 - Beech (self seeded) remove to ground level NOTES: This tree was not planted and has grown from a seedling in an unsuitable place. Despite repeat reductions the tree is becoming too large for its situation and risks causing damage to the garage adjacent and the house.
