Proposal
Proposals include new access ramp (Gradient 1:12) from existing ground level to covered porched entrance. Ramp to comprise new guardrail, upstand to open edge of ramp and non-slip material to ramp surface in accordance with Building Regs approved Document M & BS 8300:2009. Existing finished floor level of porch to be raised by 50mm to facilitate new ramp proposals. Existing concrete stepped access between main door & porch to be re-graded to give ramped access (Gradient 1:12). In addition to the above, stepped access as existing facilitating access onto the newly raised porch area will be provide. Step to have permanently contrasting material highlighting step nosing. New handrail aiding access to either side of the step is to be provided Note: The proposals will not neccessitate demolition.
