As to my knowledge it is in a banket tpo. The tree is a macrocarpa which was damaged in the strong winds last week which has caused damage to the tree causing branches to be dangerous if not removed as it's over a public area. The owner has sent me some photographs which aren't very clear but you can see the brown of the leaves as they're dead.

There is a pittisporum tree inside my boundary which extends over my neighbour's private road and overhangs his garden. It is enmeshed in their phone line as well and needs to be reduced to no more than 3metres high. There isn't a TPO on this tree, but I live in a conservation area. In the past the Conservation officer said that I didn't need permission to trim pittisporums or bays, but it is no longer possible to talk to the team.
