The process from here
This application is with Three Rivers for determination. The council publicises it, consults neighbours and technical bodies where required, and weighs the responses against local and national planning policy.
The statutory target is eight weeks for most applications and thirteen for major development, though extensions of time are common. Comments carry most weight while the case is undecided, so check the council portal for the deadline if you want to respond.
About this record
Reading the register
This page mirrors an entry on the statutory planning register that Three Rivers is required to keep. The published feed for this record does not state which type of application it is, which is common for older entries and for some council systems; the register entry on the council portal will say, alongside the case officer and any consultation dates.
Every planning application follows the same broad path: submission, validation, publicity, then a decision by officers or committee. Our guide to planning application types explains the common types and what each can approve.

T1 - Sycamore - approximately 10 metres - Rear garden near seating area/pergola In the past few months the customer has had 2 other sycamores fail at the base within close proximity to the remaining sycamore. Every year the tree has had less leaf production and has considerable deadwood within the crown. I have recommended to bring the tree down to a height of approx 4 metres and leave as a pollard/monolith to prevent any chance of failure due to heavy crown weight. Future inspections will take place to see the trees progression and whether removal of the monolith will have to take place. Replanting will also be arranged.

The failed limb has created a slight longitude crack at the main union junction for the remain x2 stems at approximately 9m, crack susceptible to worsen through continuous wind loading. Multiple wood pecker holes up along remaining stems with clusters of fungal fruiting bodies believed to be Inonotus hispidus surrounding, possible cause of the major limb failure. T2 - Ash (Fraxinus excelsior) Approx Height - 20+m Location - Rear garden in middle (adjacent to tree T1), right hand side to clients small outhouse (bar) Work required- remove x1 large dead branch overhanging clients small outhouse (bar) Reason - to remove potential hazard T3 - Spruce (Picea spp) Approx Height - 14m.
