T1 White poplar reduce tree to around 8-9 m in height and 7-8 m in overall spread. Ensure that cuts are made to a reasonably-sized living branch, this may mean adjusting the height and/or spread to achieve this objective. Re-inspect the tree annually. Reasons: see attached report

T1 - Scots pine x 1 - reduce overlong lateral branches by around 1m, prune out broken and snagged second-order branches from the crown interior. As part of the works significant sized deadwood will be removed which is an exception under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and the Town and Country Planning (Tree Preservation) [England] Regulations 2012. Reasons: the tree is located in a small garden area which it has now outgrown. In conjunction with trees growing on open land behind it is now obstructing significant afternoon sunlight to the rear of the house and reducing light throughput to the ground below. The light restriction is now significant and preventing any other vegetation growth beneath the canopy spread and beyond.

( TPO0285)T1 Lime reduce the tree 1m past the previous points based on risks to the safety of people and property due to wind. Not withstanding the condition of the tree, the possibility of it toppling down increases with time due to the detrimental effects of climate change on wind storm intensity and frequency. Please note that due to the direction of the winds this rather large tree would fall onto 7 Cardiff Way. In addition to this in 2022 a Soakaway was introduced to the neighbouring property where excavation took place very near to the Lime and this may have caused destabilising of the roots, making this tree weaker
