Granted Three Rivers 24/1898/TPO Works to trees covered by a Tree Pres O

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

We are seeking to undertake crowning and to the two trees that were subject to a previous application (16/214/TPO) In that application the trees were noted as T1 Chestnut T2 Beech In that application we were seeking to have the trees removed. This was rejected, but permission was given to Crown the trees by 20% Since undertaking that work in 2017, the trees have grown substantially, reaching similar heights as in 2016. Cosnequently we are seeking to once again crown both trees by 20%

TPO760 T50 Mature oak tree has died. We request permission to remove all branches to just leave the main trunk. Over recent years the tree has been progressively later to come into leaf and earlier to lose its' leaves than the adjacent mature oak. This year the tree has not produced any leaves at all. A local tree surgeon, Tom from T's Trees has inspected the tree and does not believe the tree trunk to be hollow. Photo2 shows damage around the trunk, which may be related to the tree's death. This damage was there when the current owners moved in.
