Proposal
T1 - Beech - Reduce overall height of canopy by 4-5 metres 'White Gates' side of canopy, reduce by 2.5-3.5 metres to blend into vertical reduction of canopy (this side of the canopy has not been reduced for many years) 'The Coach House' side of canopy, reduce by 2-3 metres, mainly by thinning canopy, to reduce spread and density over garden, and blend this into the vertical reduction and other side of the canopy (this has been done more recently) Aim to reduce the impact the canopy has on The Coach House, and maintain the tree at a reasonable size considering its location very close to the building, whilst retaining aesthetics

T2: False Acacia Robinia (Robinia pseudoacacia) located on the righthand side of the rear garden near swimming pool ? Reduce and shape canopy back to previous reduction points by approximately 3-4m in height and evenly reduce lateral spread by approximately 2.5-3m. Remove any crossing/rubbing branches and deadwood over 40mm. T3: Weeping Willow (Salix babylonica) located on the southeast boundary of the rear garden ? Reduce and shape canopy back to previous reduction points by approximately 2.5-3m in height and evenly reduce lateral spread by approximately 2.5-3m, remove any major deadwood over 40mm. Thinning the westside of the canopy and reducing any major over longs back into the canopy line. Retaining as much screening as possible at the front. T4: Large Ash (Fraxinus) located on the lefthand side of the front driveway with considerable deadwood to the southwest side of the canopy over the driveway ? Reduce and shape canopy by approximately 2.5-3m in height and evenly reduce lateral spread by approximately 2.5-3m. Reducing the large leader to the northeast side of the canopy slightly harder up to 5m pulling growth away from the neighbour?s Silver Birch and the lowest limb to the southwest side of the canopy slightly harder up to 4-5m pulling it away from the Maples and the Silver Birch it is starting to interfere with, back into the new canopy line.

T1- Remove Arizona Cypress. The tree is in severe decline with only 20-25% live foliage. There are a number of storm damaged branches within the canopy. Removal of dead and damaged branches would leave a sparse and un-functional canopy. Due to the over all condition of the tree, it would be best to remove and replant. I would recommend planting of a Sorbus to replace the Cypress giving a tree with good amenity value.
