1. Limited re-shaping of Fir tree to regain shape lost over the last few years. Care will be taken not to cut too much off which would otherwise expose sections that wouldn't re-grow. 2. Some re-shaping of Holly tree which has become too large for its location and has an irregular shape. Location of both trees shown on Site Plan. The trunks of both trees are next to our boundary but in the garden of 3 Dog Kennel Cottages (now called Thyme Cottage)

T1 - Horse Chestnut (approx 17/20 metres high) - Front drive of Lantern House T1 has a large cavity approximately 8 metres from ground level, just below the crown break due to a previous limb drop. Cavity was noticed due to recent hornets nest. From inspection the cavity is sizeable and the wound doesn't appear to be sealing fully, leaving the tree prone to disease and decay. Tree is also in close proximity to the road and surrounding houses which makes this a higher risk if it were to fail. Recommended removal of the tree to ground level with replanting to take place.
