Planning application

The Chine 34 South Road Chorleywood Rickmansworth Hertfordshire WD3 5AR

Granted Three Rivers 24/0401/TCA Works to trees in a conservation area

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

T1 (Sycamore) Re pollard to previous points - reduction of 2-2.5 metres in total T2 (Oak) Reduce overall height and spread by 1.5 to 2 metres, by thinning out larger regrowth from previous points, retaining smaller regrowth to keep the aesthetics of the tree. Reduce ivy back to inner canopy / stem, so it does not compete with the tree for light

The trees are not protected by a Tree Preservation Order and we have had permission to remove or reduce in height approximately 4 to 5 years ago, I believe these permissions have now lapsed. We would want all trees to be removed to ground level. I am very happy to replace with several indigenous silver birch as I indicated in my earlier application.
