Works: Trees
Decided. The decision notice on the council portal carries the outcome in full, including any conditions.
Proposal
G1 = Row of Poplars to fell to ground level. These trees have multiple failed stems, some collapsing into the yard working area. most of these trees are covered in ivy and some are standing dead. These trees were heavily pollarded approximately 20 years ago and as a result are full of rot, fungus at the base and dead limbs. these trees not only line the working area but also the canal footpath and pose a huge safety risk. The client is happy to put a planting scheme in place to replace the removed trees

G1 - Row of Poplars to cut back from building. This mature row of trees are heavily leaning over the building, we propose to cut them back by 3-4m to minimise risk to building. these trees have been heavily worked on in the past so maintenance is key as unions are likely weakened from new joints formed
