Proposal

Ash - Rear garden The kinked stem attached to the tree on its north-east side (see Photograph 5) is reduced in height by 1-1.5m, and reduced in spread by 2m. The height of the tree elsewhere is lightly reduced as required by up to 1m to create a smooth profile following reduction of the north-eastern stem detailed above. The crown spread of the remaining tree is reduced in length by 1-2 metres as required to create a more stable profile. Dead wood is removed.

The proposed work is the removal of a lower branch which overhangs both the adjacent footpath and roadway to avoid any potential risks to pedestrians. This work was recommended by the tree surgeon who visited the site.
