Cedars Village Finch Green Chorleywood Rickmansworth Hertfordshire WD3 5GL

Granted Three Rivers 20/0470/TPO Works to trees covered by a Tree Pres O

Works: Trees

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

T1 - Sycamore x 1 (ivy covered) - fell to ground level Reasons: damaged by falling tree T2 - Ash x 1 - reduce crown by 3m on height and 3m on width T3 - Ash x 1 - reduce crown by 3m on height and 3m on width T4 - Ash x 1 - reduce crown by 2.5m on height and 4m on width Reasons: these trees have grown in competition with nearby trees and as a result developed with an elongated and structurally unstable form. The works are intended to reduce the likelihood of windthrow similar to that which destroyed the adjacent ash tree.
