Works: Trees
Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.
Proposal
T1 - Mature Horse Chestnut to Pollard by 50% leaving a clear stem. Tree has multiple defects and dead timber in the upper crown of the tree, if lower limbs were retained it would leave long laterals that would look unbalanced, these limbs are also over outbuildings and overhead wires. If pollarded the tree could grow a new crown which should be much healthier and more maintainable reducing the high risk of failure that the tree currently has. If the tree was to die back it could be retained as a habitat pole
