Planning application

Castano Court Kitters Green Abbots Langley WD5 0HP

Granted Three Rivers 19/0307/TCA Works to trees in a conservation area

Works: Trees Small domestic

Read from the description, not a valuation. How we read the register

Permission granted. Work must normally begin within three years of the decision or the permission lapses.

Proposal

T1 + T2 - Monterey Pine - Fell to 1m trunks - Reason - The roots of the Monterey Pine are lifting an area of the driveway of Castano Court, they are also entering the drains and the sewer system. Severing the tree roots would create stability issues in the trees and as these trees are still relatively young with a lot of growing left to do it would be wise to remove them. They have also shed limbs in the past as evidence of snapped branches can be seen in the canopy. Also they have large heavy cones which could potentially pose a risk. All in all I think it would be a good idea to remove these trees. T3 - Rowan - Dead tree - Fell to ground level. G1 - Shorten Laurel group by 50%. General maintenance to keep at manageable size.
