A balanced cut and fill earth moving operation to reconstruct and enlarge the existing harvesting reservoir which was not originally constructed to any engineering design or standards that today would be expected. Why necessary for agriculture: Vegetable production to the higher light land to the north requires up to 200mm of irrigation in a drought year, the existing reservoir is poorly engineered and of insufficient size to harvest the available water from the roofs of the farm buildings to the south east.
