Horse Chestnut (T1) - reduce by 3-4 metres, crown lift up to 5 metres, dead wood and thin out by 1/3rd; causing problems for neighbouring parked cars due to falling branches. Tree being preserved - no need for replacement. Beech (T2) - dismantle and remove tree due to fungal disease (see photograph P1 - possibly tinder or hoof fungus); we have been advised this has severely weakened the tree; cutting stem to as low as possible. No room to replace tree on same site.
