3 Lime trees near rear end of property (T1-T3) - Reduce in height by approximately 3 metres (to the point of the previous reduction) and shorten longer lateral side limbs by approximately 2 metres, to produce a solid crown formation. Remove epicormic shoots within the crown to thin the canopy. Crown lift the low drooping limbs by approximately 2 metres and remove any epicormic growth from the trunk. Remove deadwood 3cm+ in diameter. Reasons ? To control the size of the crown due to concerns over the overall size and height of the tree considering its proximity to the properties.
